Eligibility
The Vigyan Vidushi (Physics) programme will be directed towards students in the first year of their M.Sc. degree, or in the fourth year of their Integrated B.Sc. – M.Sc. degree in Physics. (Those already enrolled in an Integrated M.Sc- Ph.D. programme will not be eligible.)
Selection of participants
About 40 women students will be selected from nationwide applications.
The selection will be based on:
- The academic profile of the applicant,
- Recommendations of two referees, and
- A 200-word writeup on the applicant’s interest in physics
An attempt will be made to ensure a wide distribution across educational institutions in different parts of the country.
